Terms and conditions of sale

1. Application of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions apply to all reservations made with Château de Maraval, whether directly or via third parties. By booking a room or service, the customer accepts these conditions without reservation.

2. Reservations

Reservations can be made .

• Online on our official website.
• By telephone by contacting our reservations department.
• Send us an e-mail with your request.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.

3. Rates

Prices are in euros (€) and include applicable VAT. They are subject to change according to variations in the applicable taxes. Rates include .

• The price of the room for the number of people indicated.
• Services included as specified at time of booking.

Additional services (breakfast, minibar, etc.) are not included in the room rate, unless otherwise indicated.

4. Terms of payment

Payment for the stay is made as follows:

• Reservations with prepayment: The total amount of the stay is debited at the time of booking.
• Reservations without prepayment: Payment is made on arrival or departure, according to the conditions of the rate booked.

Additional services consumed on site must be paid for prior to departure.

5. Cancellation and Modification Conditions

Cancellation and modification conditions vary according to the rate booked.

• Flexible rate: Cancellations or changes possible free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. After this time, the first night will be charged.
• Non-cancellable, non-refundable rate: No cancellations or changes possible. The total amount of the stay will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.

6. Arrival and departure

• Check-in: Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival.
• Check-out: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure. Late check-out may incur additional charges.
• Late Check-out: Late check-out is possible on request for an additional fee of €50.

7. Hotel stay

• Room capacity: The number of guests may not exceed the maximum capacity for each room type.
• Pets: Pets are allowed in the hotel at a cost of €25/night. Only pets accustomed to staying in a hotel are allowed. Pets are not allowed in communal dining areas. Pets may not be left alone in rooms. Any damage caused by the animal will be charged to the person responsible for the animal.
• Behavior: The customer agrees to behave respectfully towards other customers and staff. Inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion without refund.

8. Liability

Château de Maraval accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to guests' personal belongings. Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended in rooms or communal areas.

9. Personal data

The personal information collected at the time of booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customers have the right to access, rectify and object to their personal data.

10. Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
